oregon coast
i'm pretty sure you're not supposed to have gaping black areas in photos & possibly many people wouldn't advise taking shots from a moving car... still, others may not care about these things.
this was a chance to get a shot of the oregon coast, which is gorgeous. the outcroppings with trees growing out of them are a fairly common sight. i got lucky with the arrangement on this, there's something about it that reminds me of a japanese rock garden.

As an architect in Taiwan, I had some opportunity to study different gardens in the world,Japanese rock garden is the most famous one,I like it very much.This photo reveals strong Japanese feeling,especially three beautiful arch curves,( hope you are not the driver...)
